Last Saturday- I was able to visit Temple TX to help celebrate my favorite Texas girl Lilly's first birthday! It was precious. Katy sure knows how to throw a party! I arrived Friday night before the party- since my inlaws were in town- it was just me and a very quite 4 hour drive! When I got there, Katy's dad- Hot Rod, took us out to dinner. It was big fun! I always have an amazing time with Katy's fam- it is like my family away from home. :) :) :) Katy's dad takes as much care of me as he does her- Dr. Pepper is a big deal. :)
It was so sweet- as Lilly's gift- Hot Rod gave Katy a David Yurman bracelet to be given to Lilly when she is old enough. What a sweet, thoughtful gift for a mommy! :) Katy and I spent the rest of the night, talking- what we do best! I really just love our friendship!
Saturday- everything was perfect, great weather, great food, great timing, and one happy little girl!
