Happy Halloween 2011!

Our Halloween festivities started at First Baptist Church for the Fall Family Festival where they played games and jumped in jumpy castles! It was SO FUN! The girls had a blast! :)
I was in charge of the picture backdrop- as you can see "zebra" themed- um yes please! :)
The girls really got a kick out of the bounce house slide! It is wild how much has changed in a year! Last year- they wouldn't even get in the bounce house- now not only were they bouncing, but climbing up to go down the slide!!! :)

Ken, Hailey, and Dr. Meador at the festival.
Trick or treating with friends! :) Liz and IV had us over for a sweet time to play with friends before trick or treating. :) :) :) It was such fun!
Notice the sweet ladies face- i think she thinks that these littles are precious!
LOVE!
"Watch out for Little Monsters"
On the way home- we stopped by The Pampalons! They had special treats just for M & H! SO SO SO sweet!

Hope you had more treats than tricks this year!

She's a BAD MAMA-Jama!

This past weekend- these 2 Mommies got up early and headed to the Galveston Daily news for the start of the Toughest 10K Galveston style! We ran from the newspaper to the causeway (BIG bridge connecting the mainland to the island), then ran the entire causeway- then turned around and came back- a whopping 6.27 miles- WHAT!?!?!?!

It was a lot of fun and I am HAPPY to say that I finished! It really excited me about my first 1/2! I think I can do it!
Here we are post race!
Thanks Liz for being- YOU!

Best banana ever! Hey Courtney- can you do the banana splits?

Star of the Week: Hailey

Sweet girl was "star of the week" in her class! I am pretty sure she loved it! She got to take her favorite book to school to be read, her favorite toy, and her favorite snack to share. I let Hailey choose what she took each day. She picked a book that has a picture of her and her Honey in it to be read. She picked her bunny to take to school (sidenote: mom of twins- don't try to explain to the non- star of the week why they can't take their bunny too- just let them take it- way easier!). For her snack, I sent cupcakes that Kate made that were left over from a Halloween party- it worked out great!

Hailey certainly is a STAR in my eyes!

Keep a look out for Mattie's turn next week!

Our "little monster's"

This year I got the cutest yard sign that say "Beware of Little Monsters!"
How cute is that?!?!?
I could just eat these two up! They are always keeping us in stitches!

Harvest Moon Regatta- October 13, 2011

We headed out during nap time- whoops!- To see the sail boats as the began their trip to Corpus Christi. It was really need seeing hundreds of sailboats out in the ocean. This is the tail end of it.

The girls loved point to the boats, but as you can see- the ocean/beach won out. :)

I love this picture- always on the go- is the Haynes girls motto! :)
