Someone's in the DOGHOUSE!!!

Over the weekend guess who I caught in the doghouse.... Hailey!!!!
A little while back she figured out how to open the door (I am telling you this girl watches every move Ken and I make) and let Belle out of her kennel. Here Belle didn't leave, so Hailey decided she would get in her kennel too! Oh the JOYS of being a pet parent!

Belle seems a little less than enthusiastic about this her house guest!
She really is a great dog for the girls. They love to say "Belle, Belle, Belle" whenever they see her, her cage, or throw food on the ground. :)

Hailey Lou WhOO!!

Hailey hasn't quite let go- but this chick is getting so close! She loves to walk around holding your hands. She is really funny about it- she likes to go up and down, concrete to the gras, back and forth zig zags. :) Here she is going in circles... like a one legged duck! I joke that because she is so tiny- watching her walk is like watching The Whoo's in Whooville (you know the Grinch- Cindy Lou Whoo) Isn't this cute?!?!?!

WELCOME FRIENDS!!!

The Haynes Family had a wonderful weekend with special visits from some of our MOST FAVORITE friends!!! Saturday- The Kummerfeld's and The Neagle's came over to visit. There were a total of 10 girls (including Belle) and 3 boys! It was such FUN!!! :) I have really been missing both of these "Mommy's" lately- so I was in heaven! Both families had come down for the Baby Dedication at FBC Galveston. I feel truly blessed to be surrounded by such amazing Godly families that are in such similar walks of life as our family. The Lord gave me a gift when he brought me their friendships. Here are a few pictures of all the girls playing together! Lilly, Ally, and Addy

Addy and my girls cheeking out the "newest Neagle" Andi- she is GORGEOUS!

All the GIRLS!!! Daddy's are definitely going to have their hands full with all of these BEAUTIFUL girls!

Nothing like a Daddy and his girls!!! I love Daddy/Daughter pictures!!! :) :) :)

Speaking of LOVE- Hailey has fallen head over heels for Jack Neagle- she adored him! Couldn't get enough! She would just stare at him and when he looked away she would as we say "shake it" for him to get his attention again. Hailey definitely has a thing for the guys in her world and she isn't shy about it!

Hailey also loves to walk- if you will- she will walk 100 miles just like this. Makes my back hurt thinking about it. She is going to let go anyday now. Mattie has already begun taking steps on her own (April 12- her first 3 steps) and we haven't stopped! Hoping to video that soon!!! Mattie wasn't feeling 100% the day of our visit, so she took a little nap so we could go to dinner that night.

Hailey- found a friend in Ally! It was adorable, Ally would play with all the babies and just kept them giggling the whole time! I need to have her around more often!

Later that night we all headed to dinner at one of our favorite spots: The Original! It was a wonderful time. All 3 babies did great! :) The girls even attempted drinking from a "big" cup! So cute.

Lilly too...

and Mattie!

The gang is all here!
Ince we were home- Katy and I decided to put on our matching shirts! Too CUTE! :) Since the boys had other plans- we watched/cried through "The Blind Side"- I LOVE that movie! :) Katy and I have a- well tradition I guess of watching movies and fast forwarding the sad parts. We are both just such teary messes with sentimental stuff.
Sunday morning- we all got up and ready for church! Dedication Day!!!

First up: Sweet Andi Neagle

Next: Adorable Davis Perez
Lastly: Precious Lilly Kummerfeld
Several other babies were also dedicated to the Lord as well.
A side not of funniness: one "Big Brother" to a baby being dedicated was standing in the front with his parents when he decided he didn't want to wear his pants anymore....
so he pulled them down. David Baker and Ken lost is with laughter. It was really funny- watching the dad trying to convince him to let him pull his pants back up... You just never know with little ones!!!

After the dedication- we headed to The Perez's where we were able to spend time with some more great friends! The girls loved being outside and Ken and I loved all the hands that were willing to help handle the girls! :)

I made David and Meaghan take a picture- since I played a part in setting them up! I am resigning on top as a matchmaker! :) :) :) Aren't they cute together?!?!?

Davis with his girls!
Ken and I have been talking about getting a wagon- so we decided to borrow Davis' to see what they thought of it...

They fell in love! 1 WAGON on the way!

Brandon and Ken entertaining the wagon full. The girls cried when Ken decided he had had enough pulling.
Lastly, we got to see Lilly one more time before they headed home. She was sporting a very "Haynes Girls" outfit! Could she be any cuter?

What a sweet weekend for us all! Thanks so much for coming to see us!
We love you Neagles, Kummerfelds, and Perez's!!!

One day- two new words for Mattie!

Today started pretty typical- breakfast, dressed, school- then I remembered "staff meeting" which means we stay one hour longer after school. It never fails that these days completely rock Mattie and Hailey's world. My best friend Katy and I have joked countless times when things are a little "off" with our VERY ROUTINE babies- that "WE WILL DO BETTER TOMORROW!" Today was definitely one of those days where I thought: We will do better tomorrow. After our staff meeting, we came home Mattie slept for about 50 minutes (way to short) and Hailey slept for almost 4 hours (way too long)! During the time Hailey was sleeping, Mattie was wide eyed and bushy tailed! I think she is really teething and that had alot to do with it- (hence the runny nose and drool covered dress). We played in Mommy and Daddy's room so that I could get laundry done for this weekend. I don't know why but both girls love to roll around on our bed and play in our closet. This brings me to the point of this post- in one day Mattie has learned 2 new words... SHOE (a girl after my own heart) and no no no! In my closet we had the best time playing with Mommy's shoes! Maybe next week Hailey will wake up a little before Mattie and we can have a lesson on purses! Hailey can you say "Coach?" :) :)

The no no no- came later when I was trying to load her in the car. I said "no no no Mattie" to arching her back- then she said "no no no, no no no, no no no" over and over and over again-smiling the whole time. I still believe she didn't know the real meaning- but just proud as punch that she was mimicing me! Hailey has really become a little chatterbox too! Anyone who has talked to me lately has heard these 2 in full conversations with me and each other. I love that! My little social butterflies!!
xoxo,

Pink and Green Polka Dots!!

Here we are... on the GO GO GO! Once these 2 became mobile there was NO stopping them! We crawl all over the place now and we are really FAST! Mattie taking a breather...
Hailey with her "mad-awesome" walking skills! She cracks me up- she really knows how to steer this thing. When she bumps into walls- reverse, when something is in her way- she moves a little to the left or right. Nothing can stop her!

Another favorite toy is our laundry basket- don't worry this load is clean! :) I think we want to help mommy since there is so much!

"Tour de Laundry"- Mattie has pushed the basket all around the kitchen. Cracks me up! You GO GIRLS! I expect ANYDAY now these little dumplings will let go and walk on their own! I need you to pray for me then- hahahah! No, seriously... :) We have a FUN, busy weekend planned! Our best baby friend and family are coming to stay with us! More of that fun soon!

Happy Easter 2010!!

I can't help but think of this time last year- my two precious girls were only about 2 months old- so small and delicate- but so so so sweet... they fit in their little Easter baskets! I am so glad that I have these pictures- because now it so hard to imagine these "big girls" that small! I just love these dresses too- thanks Aunt LaLa!!
Mattie Lynn so tiny and sweet!

Hailey Sutton hard to imagine that she didn't have her big grin yet there! :)

Last night the Easter bunny hopped by... leaving baskets filled with goodies for the girls.

Also, Honey and G-daddy sent the girls each five dollars for a "sweet treat" :) How cute is that!?!? Earlier this week we received little toddler size backpacks and lunchboxes too- from Honey and G-daddy.
Grammy and Pop-Pop sent the girls the sweet spring dresses and sweaters! Aren't they LOVED!!! :) :) :)

The Easter bunny loved the carrots we left him and wanted to leave the girls something in return- so he left some yummy Easter cookies! They LOVED them at lunch today!

In our basket we had Peeps, a book, an outfit, a God Loves... dvd, and shoes (Ken says it sounds more like a basket for mommy). I heart the bunny that brings clothes and shoes!!!

The girls loved their goodies!!!

The Haynes Family at church today- it is really hard to get all of us looking at the camera!!!

We picked David Baker up on the way to church- he really has a place in his heart for the girls! How cute is he carrying our little pink backpack for church! :)

After church, we had to visit with Mrs. Laura for a few minutes! She is another one of our very favorite friends!!! :)

At home we took a few more pictures of our Easter morning- aren't their dresses adorable? I love them and the little white sandals! SO CUTE! :) Mattie still isn't quite sure about the grass situation.

This was the only one that I could get without one of the 2 crawling away...

Like Hailey is trying to do here!

Once inside we found a sweet treat- donuts! :) :) :) Hailey and Mattie helped themselves since in our rush to church we left the box on the couch. The girls loved them and of course Belle loved the mess too!
I hope you and yours had a blessed Easter Sunday and took time to reflect on God's abundant LOVE, GRACE and MERCY for each of us.
