Oh (pink) Christmas Tree!

I can't believe I haven't posted a picture of my favorite tree in the house- the girls tree! I bought this pink tree last year before Mattie and Hailey were born! I LOVE it! I really screams "GIRLY"! I made almost all of the ornaments on it too! So much fun! Here are a few nursery/baby pictures!

Hailey found her headband bag!

Mattie just might want to be a photographer soon!

Our "Little Diva" Tree! Aren't the stockings perfect too!!! I just LOVE it! Merry (pink) Christmas!

Santa Claus is coming to TOWN!!!

So yesterday Santa was on The Strand- a sweet little shopping street near our house. We decided that would be the perfect place for the girls to have their first picture made with Santa!Along with everything else- I was so excited for this time. The girls were doing great- long naps, good moods, tummy full! It was the perfect set up... Mommy and Mattie on the Strand
Daddy and Hailey on the Strand

Then we see Santa- it was HILARIOUS! Not so much that the girls weren't thrilled, but the actually guy dressed as Santa. He was just sitting by himself- no line to wait in- so we walked right up to lonely Santa- asked him if he thought he could hold both- he didn't seem so sure- so we did one at a time. Did I mention that Santa looks 18? It was truly PRICELESS to me. :)

Neither of my girls were very thrilled with this Santa! Oh the memories!
Merry Christmas!!

Oh Come ALL Ye Faithful!

Last night, our sweet friends and neighbors opened thier home for us and 2 other couples for a dinner celebration! Our friends- The Kummerfeld's had brought Lilly (their 2 month old baby girl) to the beach for the first time. It was GREAT! Christen went to so much trouble- her house looked GREAT and she even made homemade lasagna!!! You GO GIRL! Lindsay brought a great salad and I made "Monkey Bread"! YUM!!! Here are a few pictures of our night! Mattie and Cora playing together. I think Cora was loving having all of her friends over!
Lilly and Davis- before their cocktail hour. Aren't they ADORABLE! I see a future romance here. Davis is one day older than Lilly- how cute is that?!?!

The girls!

The guys- and Hailey! We have double duty at these get togethers!

Does it scare anyone else that the Mommies are out numbered already??? Scares me daily! HAHA! I love it- the girls were SO SO SO good last night. I was so proud of them. I think they love a new place to explore.

The Daddy's! Out numbered as well!
All in all it was a great night! We are truly blessed to have such great friends here in Texas! Let's do this again soon!

"Deck the Halls!"

What a great 1st weekend in December! Ken and I were able to spend a good amount of time together this weekend! We were all feeling good (finally) and in town. Friday night we stayed in and watched the Criminal Minds marathon and wrapped presents! Saturday I went to Dickens on the Strand in the morning to work for JL. Ken was able to get some studying in that afternoon. Sunday- Ken decorated the outside of our sweet house! YAY! What a great hubby! The girls LOVE Christmas lights. Here is the picture that should have been our Christmas card! :)
Daddy and Hailey Sunday night at the Hanging of the Greens service helpind put together our poinsetta tree! Such a good time of worship and fellowship. Mattie was sitting with me enjoying a Milk beverage. I think the girls really enjoyed it- even though it was a little past their bedtime.

Once we got home...

we put the girls to bed and Ken rocked Belle. HAHAHAHAH!!!

"A Penny for your thoughts"

Wow- Galveston really is a unique, special place to live... This weekend is Dickens on the Strand- a 36 year tradition. It was my first time to go and I had a blast. Everyone dresses up like they are about to board the Titanic- Dickens time period! I loved the pretty dresses! I have already put in an order with my mom to make me one for next year! Here Christen and I are giving tours of TA building for Junior League. It was really neat learning the history that just one building here has seen. It actually survived the Storm of 1900 and 2008!
Here I am counting the money next to the bank vault inside. Part of the building was a bank and the other a law office.

Christen with yummy treats for sale!

Carolers on the Strand!

A petticoat I LOVE!!! I'm thinking zebra print next year!

Santa and Mrs. Claus stopped by in their best "Dickens attire"!

Merry Christmas!

Let it SNOW... Let it SNOW... Let it SNOW!!!

I couldn't resist posting these pictures! I just catch so many cute/funny pictures with my trusty camera! My girls really are the light of my life. As Christmas nears- the story of Christmas is heavy on my heart. I know we have all heard it a million times and love it- but this Christmas, I truly realize the MAGNITUDE of what God did for us when he let his son die on the cross for our sins! I am truly humbled by his mercy, unselfishness, and unconditional love. I am blessed to have these 2 angels in my world and pray that GOd is blessing your world and touching your heart as you think of the "Christ"mas story...I think she knows she is cute!
Mattie- SITTING!!! I feel like the Hallelujah Chorus should be playing! My girls have been TOO busy to stop and sit! I am just glad to see that they can! I wonder who they get there "on the go" spirit from???? (Me, Maybe???)

Merry Christmas!!
xoxo,

"We WISH you a Merry Christmas..."

They both love to share the LOVE. It melts my heart everytime. :)
